Jacob kept beating me at Rock, Paper, Scissors. I asked him how he did it and he said, "With my wonderful brain." He read Peter Pan and liked it a lot. He loves playing board games and also the wii we got for Christmas from my very generous uncle. Jacob is very happy to do chores if it means he can play Mario Kart after. He is awfully competitive. Here he is with his new lazer ball and as a shepherd in our family nativity. Jacob likes playing soccer tag in the basement with daddy. Brandon kicks the ball while the kids run around and tries to tag them with it. This game usually ends with crying, but there are a lot of laughs in between!
isn't it funny how boys this age seem to be drawn to that Mario Kart game... it's the first thing my kids ask to do every single day....And when I tell them no, and that they need to go read or play with toys, they seriously think its going to be the end of the world or something.... fun.
