Palmyra

During Spring Break in April, we drove to Palmyra. We had a great trip, but forgot the camera. Sorry. We met someone there that knew Gma Sintay and someone that was related to one of our ward members. And I just found out that the uncle of one of the Dartmouth students in our ward is in Lauren's ward where she's serving right now on her mission. Small world!! Anyway, while we were there, we drove through a lot of farmland. Sarah looked out the window and said, "Look! It's a moose, no, elephant, no, cow. It's a cow, mom!" The three big kids slept in a king bed together at the hotel. One night, Bradlee had a nightmare and woke up screaming, "Leave me alone, Sarah! Sarah, stop touching me!" She wasn't even near him! We had a wonderful time. The kids loved the trip, too. The last day there we went back a 2nd time to the Hill Cumorah and Jacob struck up a conversation with someone there. Later on, this man came up to Brandon and asked him questions about the church. He'd lived in Palmyra all his life and never visited any of the church sites. We think that because Jacob talked to him first, that's why he specifically asked our family his questions. Pretty neat.
